Bamboo Shoots

EQUIPMENT
Saucepan

Blender or food processor

INGREDIENTS
Can of bamboo shoots in water with no citric acid

1 cup purified or filtered water

1 tsp salt

PREPARATION AND COOKING TIME
Prep time: 5-10 minutes

METHOD

1. Open the can and drain the water.

2. Put in a saucepan with 1 cup purified or filtered water.

3. Boil 2-3 minutes.

4. Add 1 teaspoon of salt.

5. Drain water.

6. Blend in a blender or food processor.


YIELD

3-4 servings


SERVING SUGGESTION
Add to soups and stews — or anything — to increase the good fiber which absorbs fungus and bacteria and normalizes peristalsis (bowel movement). You can also melt cheese over bamboo shoots.

STORAGE SUGGESTION

This will keep well in the refrigerator as you are adding it to different foods.
