PREPARATION AND COOKING TIME

Prep time:  15 minutes

Cooking time:  15 minutes

METHOD

1. Rinse, drain and boil bamboo strips in water in a saucepan for 5 - 15 minutes. Drain and store in a glass container.

2. Melt butter in a frying pan and add ½ cup of bamboo strips.

3. Add a little salt and mix until it heats up.

4. Towards the end, add 1 tsp coconut aminos and stir into the strips.

5. Add an egg, either pre scrambled or raw.  If raw, mix it into the strips until the egg is cooked.

6.  Instead of an egg you could add some ground beef or lamb.  This makes eating the strips so much easier!
